Pottery

 Painting pottery is a great idea for special occasions or just to have fun. Brushfire Art Studio has a wonderful selection of over 200 ceramic pieces to choose from ranging from $5-$75 each. Family and friends alike will treasure pottery that has been personalized by you.

Walk-In Painting

You are welcome to walk-in and paint pottery anytime we are open and not hosting a private event. 

Here's how it works

1. Select a piece of unfinished pottery.

2. We provide all the tools needed for you to create your work of art.

3. We glaze and fire your pottery on-site.

4. Your finished piece(s) will be ready in about 7-10 days for pick-up.

We also have great stamps, stencils, Silk Screens and sponges for you to use.

Hand Building Pottery Classes

Hand building is an easy way to create custom pottery pieces. Classes are by appointment only for 4+ participants. Please call for a quote on your private session.

1. Call Brushfire at (225) 664-4994 to book a date/time for your class. Classes usually last 1 - 1.5 hours.

2. You will be provided with all the materials needed to complete your preferred project. We have inspiration pieces to use when creating your one of a kind pottery.    

3. Once you have completed the building process, you leave your clay piece(s) with Brushfire and we dry and fire each piece.

4. Your project(s) will be ready in within a week and you can return anytime we are open to complete the painting portion of your pottery.

5. BrushFire will complete a second drying and firing phase on each piece. You pottery will be complete and ready for pickup about a week later.
